Access layer
Use the live CallChat web client, Element apps, or request access.
This page now mirrors the full CallChat product UI: Matrix Talk, rooms, Shield, secure `.zme1` files,
Zero Bot, identity status, backup status, and the encrypted composer. The live browser client is available at
/element/ with homeserver callchat.org already selected.
Standard Matrix chat stays free. On callchat.org, Shield vault protection is included for
active hosted accounts and is designed to work automatically. Other servers need a paid ZMath license.
The live Matrix login path
The backend is Synapse behind callchat.org, with controlled account access, Element
compatibility, media upload, TURN relay support for voice/video calls, and Q-Call status planning. Use CallChat Web for the fastest
browser login, or use official Element apps with homeserver callchat.org.
OpenZero room agent
Zero Bot is live in an approved Matrix room with local voice enabled.
The CallChat bot bridge runs as @zero:callchat.org inside #zero-bot-lab:callchat.org.
It answers commands, direct mentions, and normal lab-room greetings/product questions, uses OpenZero as the
preferred local brain when available, and can post an audio reply with !zero voice.
Local/self-hosted model endpoint for private CPU-first replies.
Local command-triggered speech output for audio replies.
Runs as a normal bot account inside CallChat rooms.
Approved rooms, in-RAM context, and no secret logging by default.
!zero callchat, !zero openzero, or !zero frontdesk.
!zero status shows bot, OpenZero, and Voicebox reachability.
!zero rules explains privacy, secrets, and room boundaries.
